ltd company dissolved tax rebate owed to me , hmrc say thay are not alowd by law to investigate this matter as company is dessolved. any help out there ?

That's right - if co has been struck off, it no longer exists - its assets are bona vacantia and pass to the crown. You can apply to have the company reinstated by formation agents such as: http://www.formationsdirect.com/company-restoration.aspx#.UTbxPZbY-Ck.
Restoration is expensive - say around £1k - so if your tax refund isn't higher than that, it wont be worth it and you'll have to put it down as an expensive mistake to have it struck off before its affairs were fully settled.0
