Hi

I am starting a position as trainee dental nurse next week and starting the training course at college in September.

I want to get prepared over the summer as I will have a good amount of time on my hands so i was wondering could anyone who is doing or done this course recommend any text books that I could read?

COuld nayone tell me a bit about how they have found this position and the course?

I'm not a trainee dental nurse but if you have a place at college for September, I suggest you ask them for a reading list. But don't get carried away in buying a lot.

While you are at work, I expect there will be some trade magazines/journals coming in. Whilst they are likely to be aimed at dentists/practice managers, you may find it worthwhile to look through for general articles.

thanks very much. i dont actually have a place yet as they arent enrolling yet and i only got hte job yesterday! but i might contact them soon.
