Payday express

I need some strong advice

I owed payday express about 650, cancelled by bank card, and over the months they have added interest, anyhow...

They have took loads of £25 and £50 debits out of my bank account, which has left me overdrawn, and skint for 3 weeks. It has added upto 500 pounds wich they have took, I'm afraid they will take more.

Why the hell does the bank allow this?

How do I go about resolving this?

any advice would be much appreciated

Canceling your bank card doesn't cancel the payment authority.

Strong advice...,,, you borrowed from them and agreed to their terms and conditions. YOU then try and stop them taking the payment?

Sounds like they have taken some of Their money back and will take the rest. It isnt your money so you cant get it back
  • When you took the loan you e-signed what is called a Continuous Payment Authority on your card, this basically entitles the company to take the money (their money might I add) that they lent you until they get back what they are owed.

Yes its ridiculous and I have read about people being left with nothing, you legally allowed them to do this when you typed your name in that wee box, did you think they would just forget about it?

I dunno how many times I have had to type that first paragraph.

  • contact them tell them you are in financial difficulties and you would like to set up a payment plan to be paid over 4 separate pay days (they will not refuse it if you can do it in four payments) and then pay them, simples
