This is not good and Yahoo will probably deny there is any sot of a problem.
I had a nightmare using Yahoo mail a few years ago. Discovered quite a few emails were not arriving and also some taking days to get to my inbox. For example hubby would send me test mails from his work and his home email and they would take up to 5 days to arrive if they arrived at all.
Yahoo denied there was a problem and blamed my ISP. I therefore set up a daily email alert for our local newspaper for both my Yahoo email address and also my ISP address. Without fail the newspaper email arrived at my ISP email address every morning between 10am and 11am. The Yahoo one would sometimes arrive in the evening, the next day, the day after etc.
Every time I complained they just were not interested.
I have since changed to GMail and not had any problems whatsoever. The best things in life are free.....0 -
I've had it happen to me today, it wasn't my contacts though who were sent spam emails as i only have 2 people in my contacts. What they have done is send emails to people from my sent messages. I have never deleted my sent messages as i just didn't think to do so. I had thousands in there but all have now been deleted. The ones i know about are about 140 email bounce backs as undeliverable, some saying thanks for entering our competition but i haven't comped for a few days and some that my friends have let me know about. I dread to think how many others have been sent that i am unaware of. Valuable lesson learned today though is to always make sure sent emails are deleted regularly.0

An old account of mine that I hadn't used for a while was hacked the other day. It only had two contacts on it though, mine and my DHs and we both recieved emails with a link. I have changed the password but a bit worried that my main account might get hacked too.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
