Debtor Hiding Assets

I am in the process of suing a debtor for money he owes me. My solicitor has told me I have a good chance of winning the case because of the large amount of assets the debtor has. I have just found out that the debtor is now putting some of his assets in a family members name, I assume to avoid losing them should I be successful in court. Is this legal?
