You are all so lovely and so funny, I've been sat here reading your messages, and have been alternating between chuckling and getting all emotional.

When they told me they had to do the episiotomy, hubby stepped in and said 'pleeeease make sure she's completely numb, she had a bad experience last time' bless him. And it really didn't hurt, just felt a bit weird. The stitching afterwards wasn't even that bad, and I've just had a bath with some lavender oil in it, so they're reasonably comfortable. I'm sitting down carefully though. ;)

Going to try and have an early night and get some sleep...wish me luck! :D

DS is taking to her really well so far, going to try and get some photos of the two of them together tomorrow.

I'm breastfeeding (not right this second obviously), so can only have the odd drink, although I haven't had one yet - feel like I need a clear head! I think it will take a few days until I can relax and do normal stuff like have a glass of wine lol!

I didn't remember it, it's weird, but it's all coming back to me now....and yes, she smells lovely! Apart from when she fills her nappy hahaha.

Funny how you can feel so happy/nervous/overwhelmed/excited/amazed all at once!

Yep..Totally agree with nappy smell ha ha! Mind you if you're breastfeeding I must admit the aroma (for want of a better word) is much sweeter (in every sense) than a formula nappy

I suppose as there was only 13 months between my 2 DD's I didin't have much time for it to slip my mind.

    All the best

You must all be really chuffed (to use the Yorkshire word for pleased!)
