I do, but it takes a fair old while if I'm making a big load.''He who takes no offence at anyone either on account of their faults, or on account of his own suspicious thoughts, has knowledge of God and of things devine.''0 -

I use a Borner V slicer when making coleslaw and I can do enough to fill a huge mixing bowl in less than 10 mins.....it's dead easy and also takes very little cleaning afterwards (a big plus as far as I'm concerned).

You can buy cheaper mandolin slicers but IMO they aren't as good. I've had mine for at least 10 years, it gets used very regularly and is still as sharp as when it was new. Do be careful to use the veggie holder though or you could find yourself with no fingers :eek:I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
