Avice please interview at ASDA

Just looking for some advice please after been bulled in my current job decided to update c.v and send to every company within traveling distance to home. just received a phone call from ASDA inviting me to a interview on fri, have gone in to total melt down not had a interview for well over 10 years,got current job through work experience.
Would it be best to go in trousers,blouse and jacket or is this to formal, the job is crew member, any one worked or been for a interview with ASDA.just want to be has prepared as much as possible has really want to get out of my current job.

In my experience (although happy to be corrected) ASDA don't often do just interviews. They tend to hold short recruitment events with a few different activities included - take a look at this for an idea - http://www.asda.jobs/site-support/Asda-Magic

Did they say it was definitely just an interview or did it sound like there could be more involved?

In terms of dress, I'd go with the smart option. Even if the job itself is less formal or requires uniform, smart dress to the interview shows you can present yourself professionally and respect the fact that you're going through a formal recruitment process.

Thank you Aryndeneth they just said to attend a interview fri morning.i think will prepare my self for the above just in case. have had a quick read has got to go to work but will read again when get back home.

I went in a suit to my supermarket interview. (At the time, it was the only thing that fitted me). 20 of us were taken on. Most of them dressed smart causal.
