Mortgage app with available credit

I do not have debt, however my credit report shows I have available credit of about £3000. I do not need and do not intend on using this credit therefore should I speak to the companies regarding decreasing the amounts prior to a mortgage application?

If you dont need it then get rid but it shouldnt make any major difference on an application.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Thanks. I wasn't sure if having the available credit on file may show to a lender that other lenders are willing to give credit and this may be a good thing....0
