Problems with Dwell discount

Hello all,

Hopefully this issue has not already been raised. I did a search but couldn't find anything.

I am trying to order some stuff from Dwell (approximately a grand's worth pre-discounts.)

There are three discounts I would like to use:

1. 20% VIP discount (when you spend over £150 online or in store.) This is displayed when I sign in to the website as I am a VIP (not sure how I qualified as such, but it seems I have!);
2. 20% voucher code from Style at Home magazine;
3. 8% exclusive cashback rate from Quidco.

The problems I am encountering are as follows:

• If I access Dwell's site via Quidco, the 20% VIP discount is not automatically applied. If I access without using Quidco, it does apply the discount automatically. Is this a common practice, or should this not be the case? If I have logged in through Quidco and the discount does not get applied, I still get the banner on the top of Dwell's website stating, "20% VIP discount (when you spend over £150 online or in store.)"
• I cannot find anywhere to enter any voucher codes, regardless of whether I go via Quidco or not. I even tried putting less than £150 in my basket in case I couldn't use both lots of 20% but again there was nowhere to enter any voucher codes. In any case, I didn't see it stated anywhere that I couldn't use both offers.

Has anyone had any experience with these issues or just any ideas?

I am kind of in a panic as the Quidco exclusive rate expires at midnight!

What is the Style at Home voucher code you are trying to use? I tried this last week and someone from Dwell said it was for in-store only.

The code is SAH13 and is in-store AND online according to the magazine.

I expect the salesperson was saying it was in-store only because he wanted to get the sale on his figures (instead of a "wasted" online sale which wold not go on his figures - I know this because I work in sales (not for Dwell!) and encounter this regularly.)

Any ideas?

Damn, wish I tried it now. Although, like you, I couldnt find anywhere to enter any codes to try out on their site!

a basic question - how I could have a 20% private discount ? is this discount also valid on sale items?

It's quite common in the Quidco 'small print' for them to state that you may not get cashback paid if you use any voucher code that's not advertised on their website so possibly why your 20% VIP discount disappears.

I think the SAH13 code has now expired but there is a 15% printable voucher for in-store use here:

I asked about the VIP account and it seems they may have had an instore promotion a while a go or they tend to offer 20% to trade customers.
