Roast Soup and Frog in a Bog...

They are just 2 meals that we have given our own name to...
Roast Soup is as it says - All leftovers from a roast made into soup! Its a great way to use up leftovers - every thing goes in! stuffing, potatoes, vegetables, gravy, left over meat... I cook up an onion, then add all the bits n bobs and some stock, then simmer and blend.. It is a very filling lunch
and can be very interesting if you have put any left over red cabbage in it! you get a pinky colour soup
Frog in a Bog - aka Toad in the Hole - I use up any spare sausages for this, take out of skins, squish into balls and bake in the batter ...
So what leftover meals do you all like to make.. I am always looking for ideas....
My secret favorite is lasagne sandwiches :rotfl:

Sunday lunches are our leftovers meals.
So it's chicken stuffed with goats cheese or maybe a piece of steak, dauphinoise potatoes or cold boiled potatoes, pate, english muffin, 1 portion of lasagne, 1 portion of fish pie, a pork pie, scotch egg, sausage, sausage roll, coleslaw, potato salad, served with crisps and whatever pickles you fancy.
I do have a very small appetite once I've cooked the dinner and it's often my food left over.
