Homebase giftcard in Argos?

Hi,

I have a £500 Homebase giftcard and am not sure what to do with it since we don't need anything from Homebase, but we could definitely spend it in Argos - does anyone know if you can use a Homebase giftcard in Argos? (As they are both Home Retail Group)?

I think it would say somewhere on the card where you can use it

If you really can't use it, put it on ebay. You will loose about £50 Inc fees etc but at least you can make use of the cash.

Please note: Homebase £ sterling gift vouchers cannot be redeemed in Eire stores.
