Mattress maker that offers more that 1 year guarantee?

In need of a new mattress yet again. Read countless threads on here. Went for independent shops. Stayed away from big names etc. and twice now I've bought mattresses that have fallen apart after a year or so.

I have looked but it seems most offer just 1 year warranty. I'd like a company that has faith in their product and and will do something about it if it falls apart after a year.

Anyone recommend any?

minimum guarantee 2 years but do longer guarantees for more expensive matresses. I have had a king size mattress from them for approx 18 months now and it is fab

Had a quick look, seems their cheapest double is £375 which is not doable right now for me.

You do understand that a guarantee has to be paid for? Usually in the cost of the product. So a mattress that could have so much misuse over a long period of time is going to be costly.

Sleepeezzee used to be 5 years not sure of their current policy.
There are loads that have a lengthy warranty, but with a warranty the consumer pays a sliding, the longer you have the product the more that gets paid. Usually around 10% a year.

King Koil, Kaymed, Dreamworks all have a 10 year warranty. But again these products are cheap cheap.

Ikea are meant to have a 25 year guarantee although reading on here plenty of people have had trouble trying to claim on it though.

Not being rude but are you larger then average size?

Do you sit on the bed regularly?

Do you turn the mattress over or around in case of a 1 sided mattress? Meant to be done EVERY month.

What type of base is the mattress going on?

Kids use it as a trampoline?

There are lots of factors for length of mattress life.

Yes I understand and am willing to pay more, just can't afford £400 right now.

Yeah, I noted that looking on a few sites, I don't mind, beats paying 100% if need be.

I've heard a lot of bad things about ikea so will avoid them.

Yes I do.

It's a slatted base but I have a sheet of wood over the slats, I know slats aren't good for pocket springs.

Honestly, I'm not sure, I'll carry on saving to spend extra if needed but I'm in a bit of a pickle since I have back issues and really need a mattress sooner rather than later.
