Any advice on dealing with Robinson Way, husband is being chased by them for over £3000 for an account that he has never had. No response from them and debt collector has been to the door.0

Tell the door stepper to do one. Send Robbers Way the "Prove it" letter. Also, keep a copy by the front door for next time the goons turn up.0

Great thank you, tempted to punch him in the nose but will desist!0

You could do, as he was trespassing and you were "acting in self defence and fealt you used reasonable force.."0

If the DCA comes back to the door, point out he has no legal rights to attend your property without your consent, and since you have no intention of giving that consent, further visits will be considered harassment and he will be reported to the police.
Or keep him standing in the rain for as long as possible. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
LB moment - March 2006. DFD - 1 June 2012!!! DEBT FREE!

Keep some leaflets by your front door for reclamation yards and pass them to the DCA if they would like to take their fettish for collectng door steps further lol.
