HMRC Coleraine or Northern Ireland

Anyone happen to have a telephone number that will get me through to HMRC in a local office in Northern Ireland. I have a general query and can not find the number applicable on their page. I would also prefer to speak to someone in NI.

Yea tried those national numbers, was just after a local number to speak to a real person in Northern Ireland. The query I have is not a general one and all the options it gives me are for different things.

I have used 028 71305239 in the past for the tax office in Londonderry if that's any good to you. It's a local number and you get to speak to a person that understands you :) whether they can sort your problem out ? I don't know but they may be able to pass you onto someone who can.
I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:

The problem I have is that OH has a family member who was bankrupted by HMRC. I have just found out that he is part of the family farm business and his name will be on entitlement to any Single Farm Payments etc from DARD. He brought a form over for my OH to sign to confirm their bank account, surely they need a joint bank account for all the family members listed on the business ID with DARD and not just one person deciding they want the money paid to their personal account? And also should HMRC not know about this person having extra funds when they owe them a lot of money is it safe?

Should probably be talking to their OR and if possible a solicitor.

I think the Bankruptcy forum is good for advice on this sort of thing. Maybe try over there. I doubt you'll get much help from the HMRC call centre.

Sounds like very dodgey dealing he is trying to engage in. I would advise OH to sign nothing if relative is a convicted bankrupt. Did he declare his farm business interest when he went to bankruptcy court?
