Nope!
Why Would I be?
I have friends who have children who don't have any support from the Fathers, they live on a tight budget and I for one would happily purchase these as a token gift and also make just as much fuss and take just as much pleasure if I was in receipt of these!
But then I thought Mothers Day was about the thought and appreciation shown, not the price tag nor the glamour.
and cheap bunch of daffs ? really ? on Mothers day? (as in flowers double in price normally)
and as for buying them for a child to give, the 3 yr old that I purchased them for is neither able nor eligible to make an online transaction. And I have no doubt his Mummy will be very pleased with her new knickers!
He will be making his own card as usual though.0 -

THAT was exactly my point. :rotfl:0 -
Thanks. Got 6pairs to add to my collection. Ordered them to collect from my local store, the first date available was Saturday. What happened to next day delivery? Have you lot overworked the packing staff?

Oh I managed to get them to pick up next day delivery from my local store. But you have to order before noon for next day collection so I'm picking the up Wednesday as I was a little lateTurning our clutter to top up our house deposit: £3000/£303.05 we're on our way!0 -

Doesn't have to be GIVEN on Mother's Day to be FOR Mother's Day though. And daffs are currently 99p a bunch here. Am sure Mummy would appreciate them just as much before the day as on the day. I would.
Glad the poppet is making his own card though.
People do buy too much stuff when all that's often needed is time spent, [not money] and a hug.
