? misprice Radley cabin case was £130 now £65 SOLD OUT

Hiya

I am trying to find these somewhere else to compare the price but these cabin cases seem to be a very good price indeed! I can only imagine they are a misprice.

HERE

I think there is an online discount to be found for johnlewis too.

I have just found this - they were £130 click

If you search through Kelkoo for Radley Cabin Bag, John Lewis comes up with a price of £130, but when you click on link you get the JL page with £65.

    So looks like a misprice!

I think that style is exclusive to John Lewis - seems like a bargain - BUT - the size may be an issue with the new regulations -

    Hand baggage restrictions
Passengers are allowed to carry ONE item of hand baggage, no larger than:

56 centimetres tall (approximately 22 inches)
45 centimetres wide (approximately 17.7 inches)
25 centimetres deep (approximately 10 inches)

    The Radley bag is:

    H58.5 x W35.5 x D25.5cm

...and so exceeds the maximum size for cabin luggage. Maybe that is why it is a bargain?!

But when I flew just before Xmas the cabin baggage regulations were clearly displayed everywhere, and these were completely ignored by customers and check-in/cabin staff alike. I was only surprised that no-one on board had a crate of live chickens, because almost every other size and shape of parcel appeared to be allowed. (This was on a BA flight to NY)
I don't think the extra couple of cm will make that much difference with this bag.

Perhaps it is a discontinued model?

I wanted the black one too. Will nip into the store tomorrow to see if they are on offer there too? x
