Can use a 10% off voucher to get it down to £71.99 or use the 1000 advantage points when you spend over £75 voucher. Also can use Rpoints etc to get a further 2.5% off.
Seems quite cheap considering a dvd player is included0 -
Anyone know what model this actually is?0

Model I think is GEC10. Hasn't got fantastic review but was based on the fact that it costs £230! For £70, it's got to be a bargain!! Ordered mine yesterday - (thanks lnjk!)
We've been after one for a bit but haven't been able to find a reasonable one at a good price! Did it through RPoints so will get 2.5% cashback and Advantage Points as well!Accepted offer on our house - Sept 2006

Looking at the pics - its a DVD player with integrated Dolby Digital decoder bundled with an amplified speaker pack..
This means you will only get surround sound from Dolby Digital DVDs.. No DTS or pro-logic and no inputs to get surround sound from your TV/ Freeview/ Satellite / Games console..
The DVD player may say DTS on it - but this is just via the optical or coax digital output. You would need a separate decoder to split it into the 6 separate channels that the amplified speaker system takes..
Much better are systems with the amplifier in the DVD player. These usually have aux inputs which you can use and get decoded surround sound from ( such as Pro-logic or pro-logic2 ).. You can pick these up at around £80 too.. The giveaway is to look for a system that has no controls on the subwoofer..0 -
