The competition is open to adults only. Write 200 words on why you think the school which your child attends or where you teach, deserves a visit from Ashleigh & Pudsey. Perhaps a teacher has started a lunchtime walking club, or you know your child and their classmates would love help in getting active. We are looking for stories that demonstrate an interest in or commitment to getting active by your school.
Fill in the form , including your 200-word entry, by 11.55pm on Wednesday 10 April 2013. We recommend that you write your entry in Microsoft Word before copy and pasting it in the box below.

Special terms and conditions:

1. This competition is open to all staff at primary/secondary schools and sixth form colleges in the UK, and parents/guardians aged 18 years and over with children at primary/ secondary schools and sixth form colleges in the UK, except employees and their immediate families of Tesco, Cedar Communications, Reactive, their agents or anyone professionally connected with this competition. Entries from anyone under 18 will not be accepted.
2. The closing date for receipt of all entries is 23.55 10th April 2013. Any entries that arrive after this date will not be considered.
3. Only one entry per parent. A parent can only nominate one school. Only one entry per teacher. More than one entry per school will be accepted but the same school cannot win both first and runner-up prize. No entries from agents, third parties, organised group or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No bulk entries. Proof of entering is not proof of receipt.
4. No responsibility can be accepted for entries incomplete, delayed, damaged, wrongly delivered or not received for whatever reason.

6. All entries must be your own original works. Any entries which are plagiarized, copied, or fraudulent; infringe upon existing rights of others will be disqualified.
7. All entries must be a maximum of 200 words inclusive. All entries which exceed the word count will be disqualified. All abbreviations, numbers and words with apostrophes will count as the full word.
8. There is one first prize of up to 2,000 pedometers and a visit from Ashleigh and Pudsey. The visit will last approx 90 minutes, and take place on either 30April, 1 or 7 May 2013, subject to Ashleigh and Pudsey’s availability at the time of winner confirmation. If for whatsoeverreason, Ashleigh and Pudsey cannot be available for reasons outside the Promoter’s control, the school will still receive the Pedometers but there will be no celebrity presentation.
9. There is one runner-up prize of up to 500 pedometers.
10. Prizes must be accepted as offered. There are no cash or alternative prizes, in whole or part. The pedometers will be sent directly to the winner’s school and runner’s-up school named at point of entry. The exact number of pedometers sent will depend on the number of pupils at that school, up to 2,000 (winner) and 500 (runner up).
11. The prizes will be awarded to the entrants whose entries, in the opinion of the judges, are interesting, original, show a commitment to encouraging school children to become more active or demonstrate an interest by the school children to become more active.
12. The winners will be notified by telephone and letter within 10 days of closing date. If a winner cannot be contacted within a further 4 days, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw prize entitlement and will award the prize to a runner up chosen at the same time as the original.
13. Judges’ decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into. Entry implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to ask for proof of identity and to verify any entries. In the case of any entry, which proves to be false or cannot be corroborated, the judges reserve the right to replace with a reserve selected at the same time as the original.
15. The winners may be required to take part in publicity resulting from this competition with no further recompense.
