30 Year Mortgages
Comments

I have a 35 year mortgage with Nationwide, and although we started overpaying and pretending it was a 25 year mortgage, now we just save the money in a separate bank account and shall decide what to do when our 2 year fixed is up next year.
Although if we carried on paying the mortgage as per normal, we would end up paying a lot more interest, I like the safety net of having a slightly lower monthly payment. If you are strict enough with overpayments, then you should be okay.
