Hi all would like a mortgage but I have had an iva in the past. my iva finished in 2010. I have updated all 3 credit agencies which show no iva or defaults all green. I have took out credit cards but paid them off every month to try to improve my credit files. I only have 15% deposit want to borrow around 60,000 do I have a chance.

Yes you do.
Broker/Lender selection will be crucial though, as an incorrect lender could cost you some money upfront to be declined further down the road.
Should definitely be achievable though, always prudent to get your credit files from Experian, Equifax and Call Credit as sometimes an incorrect listing or kickback from the IVA may appear and scupper it all...

Although your credit reports are clear, most mortgage providers will ask a question about past bankruptcy or perhaps, more widely, insolvency. A broker might help you find a lender that's likely to want your custom.
