Econo-fatigue

Okay, perhaps it's a term which doesn't exist, but for me econo-fatigue has clearly set in.

I'd define it as a resignation that our current economic ails are beyond the ability of mere individuals to solve, and that the power brokers seem unable to resolve either.

I remember first hearing about QE and being quite shocked at the idea we would create £50bn or a £100bn; the bail out of the banks involved more billions of a fix than I'd ever considered possible.

Now, if some minister announced another £150bn of QE, or a further bailout of banks, I doubt I would even blink.

Do you suffer from econo-fatigue? Does this make it easier for big business and politicians to push ahead with changes which suit them?

Appears that they are merely juggling with sharp knives. In an attempt to prevent a collapse of confidence.
