Bad credit

I really want to buy a house I currently have a credit rating of 400 on Experian due to 2defaults and lots of credit searches I have stated paying my debts off these will be paid in 6 months I'm also saving for a deposit will have 12000 this time next year ... Will I be able to get a mortgage the calculators say we will get 132000 based on wages. I am making big steps to improve my mistakes from a few years ago

Rather than saving for the deposit now. Prioritise repayment of your debts first. Your first objective needs to be to start with a clean slate.

And avoid applying for any more credit. While the Experian Credit Score is just a guide for you, it does mirror how lenders typically assess your credit report. The mortgage lender is unlikely to be impressed to find a record of recent credit applications elsewhere. However, these search footprints disappear after 12 months.
