Pound Nosedives Again Fuelling Fears Of Triple Dip Recession - interesting article ,but scary, on slumping confidence (unemployment begins its inevitable rise upwards as firms that gave Osborne the benefit of the doubt and clung on to good staff, finally begin to accept he was wrong and there isnt actually any good news keeping on coming - and shed workers after triple A loss. Seems like he already left the last chance saloon - another month of failing growth and its official,we ll be back in recession.

Angela Eagle - Shadow Leader of the House of Commons
In April 2008 Eagle took part in a debate in Parliament on the UK economy in which the Liberal Democrats tabled a motion suggesting that the country was facing an 'extreme bubble in the housing market' and the 'risk of recession'. Eagle responded stating "Fortunately for all of us...that colourful and lurid fiction has no real bearing on the macro-economic reality." In 2009 Jeremy Browne, who led the debate reflected on her comments, stating "A year ago, Angela Eagle’s comments summed up the Government’s delusional attitude. We had been warning for months that we faced a housing market collapse and a serious recession, but ministers did not want to hear it. Their failure to face up to reality left the country dangerously unprepared for the crisis that now confronts us.0 -
It's typical for socialists and fools like DLW to want other people and the government to make them richer, rather than getting off their proverbial rear end and making it happen.
Posts like this are the best way of illustrating that labour is incapable of running the economy and that their client state needs dismantling.0 -
DLW. Out of interest can you enlighten us on which you would prefer to see.
1. The economy picking up over the next 2 years with both growth and employment beginning to surge, and the deficit reducing as a result.
2. The economy tanking with both unemployment and the deficit increasing at an alarming rate causing misery to millions now and damage to future generations - but as a result those millions are persuaded to go out to the ballot box and give Labour a majority government in the hope that they might turn things round.
I have my suspicions about what your preference would be - but I sincerely hope that I'm wrong."When the people fear the government there is tyranny, when the government fears the people there is liberty." - Thomas Jefferson0 -

Can anyone explain to me how a poster on an Internet forum makes a post and another user has classed it as the whole socialist agenda or even the Labour party's agenda? It's typical for socialists and fools like DLW to want other people and the government to make them richer, rather than getting off their proverbial rear end and making it happen.

I'm not aware of DLW delivering any message other than badly thought out propoganda - but maybe I am deluded eh?
One thing that I do know. DLW certainly doesn't get the message from the majority of the contributors to this forum. He or she is not wanted!"When the people fear the government there is tyranny, when the government fears the people there is liberty." - Thomas Jefferson0 -

Maybe you should have a look at his/her posting history. DLW doesn't have the intelligence to engage in degree of debate (so won't answer the question that I posed) but merely spouts party political propoganda. I don't know why DLW chooses one of the least read internet forums to do this.
You may want to read through threads from the last few days and you will also find that DLW started an almost identical thread. Why continue to clog up the boards with this nonsense?"When the people fear the government there is tyranny, when the government fears the people there is liberty." - Thomas Jefferson0 -
My post quoted Wookster not DLW. According to him ones poster is the Labour Party?MacMickster wrote: »Maybe you should have a look at his/her posting history.
