    Think about it the other way round - are you happy for the employer/ manager/ HR person's children to go round gossiping about you? The agreement goes both ways - they/ their families will not talk about you, and you/ your family do not talk about them.

    this is the problem nothing in agreement for them to keep quiet

    That is because the employer is forbidden from telling anyone - so there is no need for their family to be expressly forbidden as they will never be told.
