If it's against the terms and conditions of the site to have more than one account then you haven't got a leg to stand on.0

What Treevo said. Sorry.Because it's fun to have money!

But the other account was created since I couldn't get the password reminder email for the first account. As a result, I opened the second account to message them to have the password reminder email manually sent (there was no other way to contact them.). Once the password reminder email was received, I handed over the second account to my brother who used it from there on in. However, I forgot to change the name on the account to his name. The bank details, however, are different on both accounts proving that I wasn't using the second account.
Don't you think I have a case here?
P.S - Thank you both of you for your responses.0 -
A couple of thoughts - if you and your brother doubled up on any deals and can in any way that could be interpreted as cheating the system then I imagine you're out of luck, and maybe deservedly so.
However, if you're 100% clean in the usage then talk to Trading Standards and CAB next. Possibly you might have a case that the T&Cs are unfair and got no help logging into the old account. If you do have a case then are greasypalm based in the UK?
If you have a legitimate claim for unpaid cashback, don't threaten them with legal action. Write (and send the letter recorded) setting out your reasons and presenting your case, ask for the money owed within a reasonable time (say 21 days.) If no response then ask again politely, giving 10 days. Then file a small claim with money claim online.
If greasypalm are outside the UK then you'll have a much harder time with this.0 -

You could fall foul of this:23. You are responsible for the security of your Rewards, and you agree that you will not transfer them to any other person, barter them for goods or services or deliberately or negligently enable any other person to obtain the benefit of Rewards awarded to you with or without your consent and that you will keep your Account details private and secret from others.
Technically you have transferred them to another person. We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0 -
Thanks for all your help guys.
Apparently, it was a mistake on their part, and they have restored access to the accounts!0 -
