The time has nearly come...

Hiya,

I have been lurking around here for a while. Me and OH got married in a private ceremony last week which only the 13 guest that were there, know about.

Tomorrow night we are having a hugh party with 120 guests, they think it is to celebrate that we have been together a long time but are not getting married.

At the start of the party we are going to tell them we did it last week in some kind of suprise reveal.

I have been so calm, even on the acutal wedding now but I work up this morning and the nerves have hit me!! :eek:

Could do with a glass of wine but it's a bit early, lol.

Please someone tell me to calm down and that it will all be ok!

I know it will, everyone will be happy for us even if they didn't get to come to the wedding. Just don't want it to upset anybody.

Calm down. It will be OK.

i suppose people may just not turn up for a sat night party, if they think its just a "anniversary bash" and say have had a busy weekend, so be prepared for that.

I know what you mean, most of the guests are my OH family who we have been promising a party to for the last 5 years. the other friends are the type who are always up for a party no matter what the excuse so I don't think there will be too many no shows. Plus with so many guests i'm not sure I would notice a few not their.

Now, having down well so far, I am now in disaster mode. I have had a bit of a sore throat the last few days and have now noticed I have an infection in my tonsillis. Hope I am not in too much pain with it tomorrow (as I am not normally a good patient) and that I don't lose my voice like last time i had it.

I think it just the stress coming out.

What a fab idea!! All your guest's will be sooooo happy for you so hope you have plenty of tissues to hand. Are you wearing your wedding dress??? Make sure someone can take photo's when you make your announcement...will be some interesting pictures to look back at!!!!!!! Take some painkillers tonight and get some rest tonight and enjoy your very special night

It went really really well!!

Everyone came, my DH did a speech right at the start telling them we got married. Everyone cheered and then we had an amazing party!!

It was perfect, exactly as I wanted it, I could not be more happy.
