hi all,
i am not sure if this is the right thread but i brought a double duvet cover and pillow cases from le redoute the item arrived and i put it away. ( i brought as a spare ) i have only just opened it and for the first part it only has one pillow case which is SQAURE and the quilt well sorry i could not belive my eyes  it has a very strange shape ( it's the same shape as an APRON ) and if and when you got the quilt inside you would have to tuck the end part under or it would just flap loose. i have looked at my delivery note and it reads to be retured within 14 days. it was dispatched on 28/02 and now it's 01/03 have i any rights :(

i brought this from le redoute. i have since looked at the item again on the website and you have to click on a tiny link for details and it does state what i got, a bottle shaped duvet cover and 1 square pillowcase. seems i should have read more into the detail although when your buying a duvet cover you would expect bog standed sqaure duvet with 2 pillowcases.. seems the french have differant ideas. i shall have to grin and bear the cost but be more careful in future. i won't be ordering from this firm again that's for sure :(

I agree, shape should be highlighted for british purchasers. Might be worth ringing and asking if you can return? They might agree although legally not obliged to as it was stated in description.

This was done by mail order therefore the rights are different. This comes under the distance selling regulations and you have the right to return the item. Might be a good idea to call them and get a returns number ASAP though.

You original post indicates that you asked the question within 24 hours of receipt, but you mention having put it away. Will you clarify just how long you've had this item?
