Just wanted to report on some good news, forums are normally full of issues, with a mortgage application.
I was after a £100k mortgage and had a ccj and a default on my file and had 2 rejections with a previous advisor, I had a 20% deposit and a good salary but that didn't stop lenders showing interest.
After some helpfull advice on here and the use of a Mortgage Advisor I am mow collecting the keys to my new place today.
I cant thank said advisor enough and wish I had paid the fee months ago to use their services. You pay for what you get at the end of the day.

Great to hear a success story. Congratulations and good luck with the move..Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Yay! Well done and good luck in your new place!
I know how hard it can be when you're slightly outside of the mortgage companies' comfort zone - we had huge problems with getting a mortgage due to only one year of self employment and a supposedly uninhabitable house, but we managed it eventually.
Just goes to show that nothing is impossible if you're determined. Really well done on getting it all sorted.0 -
Congratulations!! Lovely news to read on a Friday! We too are using a mortgage advisor and like you I too could never thank them enough.
Have a great weekend in your new home!0
