Arrears but are they ?

Options
Just reading some of the threads on here now I have an issue that giooes back to 2004.

In October that year I get a letter saying they'd done an assessment at my ex's request and my payments were to increase by £68 a month and this was backdated some 30 months, giving £2000 of arrears.
The next day I got a letter saying they'd done an assessment at my request and my payment was going down by £10 a month ( from the original figure ) but this was applicable from the next day despite this assesssment going back 2 years !

I asked and was told this was normal and acceptable and that the 2 assessments used different information, as sometimes when they sent 2 requests for information I only replied to 1 !

The basic question is after all this time can I still try to get my money back
 I've paid the CSA off and stopped them taking payments:beer:
I'm stillowed some arrears by my ex

I was a NRP, now I'm a PWC, partner of a PWC, and parent of a PWC ( and very confused at times )

I'm abit confused if you asked for a re-assessment in October how could they back date that by 30mths?

Hopefully someone will come along who can hep you.
  • No in the october they sent a letter saying they'd done the reassessment.
