HMRevenue pension

Hello

My parents worked in England a few years and are entitled to a low state pension. (Father - 73£state pension + 33£ S&N pesnion scheme weekly and mother - 33£ state pension + 10£ S&N pension scheme weekly). The question is: do they have to pay tax or fill any kind of form? They live in Poortugal and don't have any other income from England.

Did you click on "retiring" on reaching the site? There is a section on state pension and how to apply and on taxation.

Yes. It takes me here: http://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/work/retire/taxes/uk/index_en.htm

    It doesn't mention pensionists.

As an EU national, you are entitled to live in another EU country.

But if you receive any pensions from other countries, how does that affect your other benefits? And where will you have to pay taxes?

When you open the link look under "Work and Retirement" and click on retiring

Your parents now live in Portugal - the simplest thing might be for them to get in touch with the relevant Portuguese authority and ask about taxation of pension from abroad.
