    Hope not !

  • Thanks I found that later this afternoon, but if they have to send a pin to access the report that means it won't be till next week. Looks like they like to get you to sign up for the trial as the result is instant.

I didnt sign up for the free trial, and I got mine instantly.
  • We get a lot of Refer and Decline results for 'undisclosed credit'
It really is much better to get your reports before you start any application then you can see exactly what is there

As Holly said, there is Check my File which is supposedly multi-agency, but from what I can remember this does not show CAIS information (which is Experian) only Equifax & Call Credit and so you may not see what Nationwide is looking at - as they use Experian.
We had this a few times when I worked for Nationwide as clients would say there was nothing there - but they had a CallCredit report which didnt show cais (not quite sure why!)

Checkmyfile definately displays experian (along with equifax and callcredit) and payment profile info.

    Hope this helps

It shows some Experian information such as CCJ's but it doesnt show the active credit account information (CAIS)

I just had a look to make sure it hasnt changed, and it does say that it does not show CAIS -

You have to cross your fingers that anything Experian is also reported to Equifax and Call Credit so then it will be on the check my file report (and an inactive credit card may not be)

Just thought would mention this as you are dealing with (and having a prblem with) a lender who uses Experian.

'checkmyfile reports do not contain CAIS data, but because lenders tend to send the monthly updates to more than one agency, most if not all of your credit reports are likely to be reported on the Insight and Share databases shown on checkmyfile reports with Equifax and Callcredit data'

No SP you're bob on .... I've just had a check through my own checkmyfile report I have (as I started doubting myself !), and although experian is showing as recording PD and other data so is included in the report, when I've looked closer at the Payment Profile accounts, they are all recorded by Callcredit and/or Equifax.

    Good shout !!

  • I know how you feel - I was starting to think am I going mad??! (mind you thats quite possible!!)
    :rotfl:
  • I have always been told that if I pay off my CC in full every month and never leave an outstanding amount on it that isn't to be repaid when due then:

    a) It isn't taken into consideration; and
    b) It is not necessary to declare it.

If it is Nationwide I would really say get the Experian Stat Report as at least then you know you have got what the lender is also looking at.
I dont think there is anywhere to guarantee an instant report but worth a try as may well be able to print it off there and then (as I say, mine was instant)

We have exactly the same situ with a client at the min, we need him to get an experian report too (not Nationwide, but another Experian using lender and his check my file report from Nov doesnt show anything else but the lender is saying there is an account there)

Fingers crossed you can find out what it is ;)
