Please help me. I recently moved to Luxembourg from the UK and currently have around £6,000 split between two credit cards. My interest rates are around 25-29% and I am struggling to see how I will pay them off any time soon.
I cannot transfer my balance to a 0% interest free card as I am no longer a UK resident. Neither can I secure a personal loan. I have tried to get a loan her with BGL but they did not want to know... can anyone provide any help for me? Its really getting me down and I don't have any where else to turn?
Thanks in advance,
Tom

Write to the credit card companies and make them an offer of what you can afford.
Let them know how much income you have and ask them to freeze the interest.
At least you aren't trying to run away from your debt.
Jut remember you cannot be imprisoned for having a debt nor can the credit card companies take more than you can reasonably afford each month.
Don't worry about it. Just talk to the credit card companies.0
