No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in March

Had a NPI today; I'm getting low on shampoo and conditioner and spent a good 20 minutes looking at various shampoos in Boots. Walked away without buying any; I have the current bottles plus a little travel set so should be able to eke it out for at least another two weeks, if not more.0

Good evening, only a few days left for March and the last few INs and UU's.
IN'S
3 bright side bubble bars
2 the enchanter bath ballistics
Est!e Lauder advance time zone cream - freebie
UU's
Neutrogena concentrated hand cream WBA HG my favourite hand cream by far, but am not allowed anymore till I have used up the ones I have
Handy gurugu hand cream might WBA not a bad hand cream but the smell is very overpowering but it is the only one from lush I think that works.
Dream matte mousse foundation WBA but again have another couple to use before I am allowed to buy anymore.
BS passion fruit body butter WNBA I like BS body butters but was not a great fan of the smell of this one.
Green people fruit scrub WNBA I like it but I have several more to use and I was not a great fan of the smell
Aldi hair refine conditioner WNBA Did not do a lot for my hair
I do think that I have made some progress this month and I have resisted buying things. I have got rid of 2 beauty box subscriptions so less IN's for April, still waiting for luxbox but that will arrive next week so will be part of April. I have had a sort out and am going to ebay some items that I am never going to use. I still need to buy deodorant before I actually run out.0 -
Another UU: Corsodyl mouthwash
Another 3 INs: Corsodyl mouthwash! :rotfl: There's 3 4 2 on in Boots at the minute and I got a voucher for 25% off one, so all three came to £8.20, which means they came to £2.73 each instead of £14.07 or £4.69 each. Bargain! :T
P.S. Am getting toward the end of my eye make up remover, so I will soon be onto my last one!
That's good. I did notice it in Home Bargains yesterday and I think it was £2.99, which was pretty good if you only needed one.
I managed to resist the toiletries(but not the 8 Creme Eggs for £1 offer
:rotfl:)
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
1ta vanilla creme shower souffl! as it has gone bad, unless any1 has other ideas on what I could use it for? Thinking maybe brush cleaner but I tend to use baby shampoo for that£365 a year spend challenge - this has included food/clothes/beauty?? who knows where I am
20,000 step a day challenge0 -
Just a quick mention that there is a look-alike mouthwash for Corsodyl that has the same amount of active ingredient, I use this instead. It's in Wilko's and Savers, and a fraction of the price, £1.69 ish. Apologies if I mentioned it before.
My lovely Aveeno moisturiser, such a kind gift from a threadmate is now cut open, UU will be tomorrow.
My Avon rep was due yesterday, but hasn't bothered coming around again, luckily nothing on the order was urgently needed. She is very young and I dare say very busy, but I am getting a little annoyed at her not sticking to the delivery dates. One time I bought something to replace a product I'd ordered as I presumed she hadn't picked up the order after all. Then she turned up, of course. I know this sounds so moany, and I'm sorry, but I'm used to good reliable service from Avon, I've had lots of reps on and off over the years and she is the first one who has been like this. (I miss Essex Hebridean, she was a good source of advice on all things Avon.)
A tiny NBI - a L'Oreal Revitalift Laser Renew sachet with my Easy Living subscription. I am convinced I signed up for a year with a one off payment, yet these mags keep coming... A shame the magazine is largely overpriced garbage and egotistical babble. Every issue I come across articles written by women whom I'm profoundly grateful that I don't know. Added to which, they never send me the free gifts...! Aren't I ungrateful, lol?Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
2 more UU (one from last night I forgot to mention)
Lush party popper bath bomb
Lush Cinders bath bomb
Would buy both again next Christmas.
I have promised my daughter and my teenage sister a shopping trip to the nearest city next weekend. I would imagine we will take the oppertunity to restock the lush supply. No more buying toiletries0 -

Ooh that is a shame, I really like this facial wash.
And - I am an Avon rep and I always deliver my orders on a friday and collect my books on a Wednesday and I have gone out in torrential rain, blizzards, sheet ice, thick snow the lot and even when I have been ill. I would never mess people about like your rep is doing. On the magazine front have you checked that there isn't one of those continuous payment things coming out of your bank?Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
