Facebook and sharing?

If when asked you share but then select only you or just one of your friends to see it, does it count?

I dont want to bombard all my friends with comps, so would this work ie. you would be showing up for the company as shared it wouldnt you if you have clicked the share button?

No it doesn't count. As far as I am aware, it needs to be set to public otherwise the company won't see it.

if it does not state to put it to public you should be ok i won a few things in that way since ive started sharing publicly ive not won nothing so........... unless it states it carry on x

I think for most of the sharing comps on fb, you have to change the settings to 'public' which is mentioned in a few comps t&c's.
No idea how they tell or if it even really makes a difference.

If you don't share publicly they can't see the share, that's how they tell.
