Avon skin so soft 2nd question

Just received my order of 4 bottles of this, but I can't get any of them to work! Before I contact Avon, I thought it worth asking on here just in case the fault lies with me (perfectly possible).

No matter how hard I press the spray nothing comes out. I unscrewed the lid on one and there doesnt seem to be a tube going down into the bottle as there usually is on this type of thing. Is it supposed to be like that? Or is this a faulty batch?

DH cant get any one of the 4 bottles to work either.....is this imminent senility or what? :eek:

Just been out to my campervan to look at mine for you (a gorgeous day today!) only to discover the contents have either frozen or otherwise solidified. There is a little tube that goes down inside though mine sheered off when I opened the top but it would have been connected originally.

I'd get in touch with them, mine are several years old however, so maybe the design has changed since then but even so, if it's unusable then it's no good.

Skin so soft blue bottle..... The brand new one that I have just opened has sprayed first time, no adjustment needed the very top of bottle is turning and just fits into 1 1/2 inch section that is fixed when you unscrew it there is a small spring at top of tube that gives the spray action.... So if it is not spraying give them a ring and you will more than likely get replacements and if you change the duff bottles tops you are quids in.... Hope it makes sense
By the way it is a really great product that I use a lot in summer, no messy residue and drys quickly and keeps mozzies at bay.

Thanks both of you. Just had a look again at mine and it says original skin so soft but is in a white bottle not blue. I have given them all a hard shake, 1 sounds liquid but 3 sound empty....so very odd. Will phone Avon and see what they say.

Mine's sort of a pale turquoise plastic bottle - def not white. Smells horrible but a must for camping.

All sorted! I bought it online and it seems storage facilities at some carriers are kept at low temperature. Avon said to put bottles in hot water for 5 minutes,shake well and they should work.....and they do! The tube is actually still in place but the bottle contents had dropped to such a low temp they had almost solidified so the tube stayed in place when I removed the spray top to have a look inside.

Thanks for all help, I have been camping for 30+ years and wish I had knowwn about this product years ago.
