Employee reference

Hello everyone - sorry if this has come up but i'm a bit of a worrier and just wanted to know if anyone knows what Nationwide ask for in an employee reference?
Does anyone also know if they count bonuses when asking for salary details?
my mortgage guy has gone AWOL this evening and i'm beginning to wonder why they are sending this reference when i have also provided my P60 and recent payslip. He says they are counting my basic only but not my bonus from last year which was £920 - i hope this doesnt decline our mortgage.
Anyone got any ideas?! Any words of wisdom or encourgagement greatly received!

I know they wouldn't count my husbands bonus (which is quite large) when he redid the mortgage as its not a guranteed income . I guess lenders may vary.0

Nationwide by default will use the 2011-2012 figure for their calculations.
If the payslips show the applicant is on target to earn more in 2012-2013, then they will let you use this extra income but just need the employer to confirm that bonuses are still being received.
They usually fire out references when they have questions over the extra income
I wouldn't worry about it unless income has decreased.0 -
My mortgage man is saying they're only looking at my basic and sending the ER so my employer can confirm I earn a certain amount, he's asked me to tell them to put the amount of earnings including my bonus, I can't make them do that, if NW ask for my basic that's what they will be told. I'm so worried they're going to decline us now. I haven't lied at any point and I'm not sure if my mortgage man is making me fix the answer to suit us which I obviously can't/won't do. It doesn't help I don't understand it all!0
