How to view a thread that's been deleted.

Hi and thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give.Basicly I was writing a post on a thread and it said invalid thread specified and I can't even view the thread.Does anyone know a way to view the thread in the condition it was when it was deleted.I heard something about google cache but I am not sure.
