Making your own cleanser

Hi there,
Not sure if I'm in the right place, but please let me know if I'm not!
I used to buy all my cleansers, etc but now my money has dropped a huge amount I need to find a more thrifty option.
I'm a bit of a hippy at heart and don't really like using things with loads of chemicals, so does anyone know where I can find a recipe for making my own cleanser? Or maybe someone has a recipe of their own?
Thanks in advance!

i use olive oil to take my make up off, and then take it off with a muslin cloth or flannel.
I have dry skin but if your isnt you could use almond oil0 -

No - it makes it much drier. If I use Olive oil (or EVOO - extra virgin olive oil) at night then, in the morning, I will just hold a hot wet facecloth to my face and then moisturise. I like EVOO because I am lazy - it takes moments to do and gets all your make up off to boot.
Google - the Oil Cleansing method.
Oh, and my hairdresser says that my hair is in the best condition of anyone she has in her salon and was gobsmacked when i said I use shampoo and conditioner from the £ shop (Palm0live), I said I thought it might be due to the EVOO - it shows you that what goes on your skin gets absorbed through your head!!!:eek:I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
no doesnt make it oily think it makes mine more normal, it seems to balance it out.0
