This is the second year of our Name our Dolphin competition. Last year Laura won with the name Quikfinz. Well done Laura.

So once again we are inviting anyone under the age of 14 to think of a name for the dolphin featured in our company logo.

When we started Konfidence, all those years ago, we chose the dolphin to represent our company. The dolphins' friendly nature, confidence and supreme ability reflected what we wanted to achieve in our products and customer service.

So for 2007 we are asking anyone who is under the age of 14 (by 1st September 2007), whether a customer or not, to suggest a name for the dolphin in our logo.

The winner of the competition will win a dolphin adoption with WDCS, the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society.

The dolphins featured in WDCS's Adoption Programme live in the Moray Firth in Scotland, which is home to the last 130 bottlenose dolphins living in the North Sea. This competition came about because, on our summer holiday in 2005, we were swimming off shore when a small pod of dolphins came to within a few feet of us. They swam round us, 'kicking' their tails and leaping out of the water. It was the most extraordinary experience. We came out of the water and decided immediately that we must to do something to help these stunning animals.

To enter all you have to do is one of the following:

1) Print off the application form, complete it or complete on behalf of the person wishing to enter, if his or her handwriting is still a bit wobbly, and post, e mail or fax it to us at:

The competition ends on 30th August 2007 and the winning entry will be chosen on the 30th September. In the event that there are a number of entries with the same name and this name is chosen as the winner, those entries will go into a hat and the first entry picked out will be the final winner. You can enter as many different names as you want! If you want to Adopt a Dolphin for yourself or as a gift for a friend, or family member then you can do so by clicking on the WDCS logo.
