I was told that the WP is for 2 years but i received a leaflet, which was against the governments back to work schemes or something like that...and it stated on the leaflet that the Work Programme can possibily last from 2-4 years?
After 4 years you must do free work - voluntary work, otherwise you get sanctioned?
Does anyone know what happens after 2 years of being on the WP? Do you stay on WP? Or do you come off it? Are you forced to do voluntary work?

The WP provider is responsible for tracking you and trying to keep you in sustained work for 2 years once they engage with you. So if you get a job in week 1, they will check you are still employed and provide support if required up to 2yrs after. Also, if you get a job after 23 months of job seeking and support they will only track for a further month.0
