Free Website - Building Portfolio

Hey guys.

I was browsing the net to find a web designer and found one offering free websites to build their portfolio. There isn't a lot about it on their site but I contacted them as they requested and now I've got my site up and running! Had it made quickly and, although it's just their basic package, I haven't got any complaints! Very friendly and helpful. Already in talks about helping me rank on google.

Anyway the business site is dperryweb.co.uk if it's going to help anyone else. I saw a couple of people mentioned they were looking for websites in the graphic design thread so I figured this was a helpful share!

Slightly worrying when you go to a web design company and their own website doesn't appear properly though!


I struggled to see it there since the text is in that gap between "About Us" and the white square but they do say it's a temporary website..so hopefully the customer websites are a bit more carefully checked!

looks like a template from somewhere as opposed to bespoke.

I worry about dealing with any business that doesn't publish a contact address on its website like the one you've linked, in fact I always understood this was a legal requirement when trading in the UK?

He or she seems to have responded to comments and now has holding page saying new site coming soon, - a website is your shop window these days and especially if that is your area of service it is vital that it reflects those skills you are trying to sell. Basic does not mean poorly worked templates for webs designers at all these days as any john !!!!!! or Harriet can do that,

I see they have, interesting the alt content for that holding image/movie is in a diffrent business' "Isabel Designostrom Interactive Art Director & Flash Developer"

I guess thats from a template as well then?
