Get the violins ready ... not only is 1st anniversary of my mum's death Sunday but brother taken back into hospital last night with collapsed lung and niece in hospital as she o'dosed again.

    It never rains ...

So sorry to hear this, but at least if things DO come in threes you've had your three :(
    Thank you :A

He's made it to the airport - 2 hour walk in the snow and wind. He's happy to be indoors :)

Just need to see if his plane turns up now...it's on it's way from Bristol but chances are it will get diverted to Krakow or somewhere. All the roads are blocked around the airport so it's anyone's guess what will happen if that plane does get diverted. Oh well at least he's in the warm.

Walking that far in that weather he deserves to be flown home first class !

Make sure Ryanair don't ignore their responsibilities, they should look after him until they can get him home, under some EU directive. My son was nearly dumped by Ryanair with a letter saying you can apply for a refund or wait 3 days for the next flight. Plenty of advice on the flights board.

PS Looks like your prediction was right :(

    Thanks silvercar

He's waiting in the queue at the desk now, yes the plane's gone to Krakow but they can't get any passengers there because of the conditions :(

He's going to try and get on the Sunday Warsaw flight instead - bit of a blow to our plans but hey ho I can't complain I'm at home instead of stranded at an airport for the night.
    Damn you Polish weather :(

Does anyone know if Sainsburys Brand Match compares electrical items?

    I shopped today and bought.

    Sony DVD player @ £26.99
    2 x Cushelle @ £4.36 each (£3.50 each at A).
    1 x Cravendale 2L @ £1.98 (£1.50 at A).
    1 x Warbutons loaf @ £1.10 (£1.25 at A).

I was expecting a BM voucher of about £2.00, but only got 33p?

Electrical item do not apply to Bm.

    Your 33p looks wrong though.

    I have it @ £2.05.

Going to do a little tester now.

    Shop should costs £23.24.

    Have mocs for £11.50.

    Should cost £11.74.

Expect a BM of £8.52 in return.
