Nictryn - what about scones, cream teas - may even get a sale or return on some items. A lady organised a fundraiser on our street for someone on a gap year (it was a blooming cold day so we were glad of tea/coffee option as well as alcoholic option). One of ladies at school recently did a coffee morning and cake event for the Haven and did well from local big companies as mentioned by anoother poster. Especially Sainsbury's - Morrisons at first did not contribute (which is the local supermarket) but she wrote again politely re- asking for a contribution and pointing out how helpful the other supermarkets had been and it would be a shame if the local one couldn't support a local event. Some of the local businesses helpful too - ie costcutter franchaisee etc. So good luck with the event and don't stress too much re making the 'best cakes' you are going to have a few professionally made ones there which will do this. Homemade cakes are great whichever form - leave the icing and moulding to others. Loved the look and sound of David's malteser cake. Good luck.

Thanks for the comments this morning Morgy. I have had an idea to let kids decorate their own cakes, as an extra bit of fun and I won't have to decorate as many. Also thought it might be an idea to get my DD school to mention the street fete in their newsletter, free advertising. I am grateful to anyone for their ideas, I will definately be making the malteser cake. I want lots of variety. Thanks guys

Thank you for sharing your results.

Does that mean Asda have fixed this and the 1D egg won't work?

All this means is after eight doesn't work

1d may or may not. We need someone to test
    CupofTea wrote: »
I'll go test then. Hopefully they'll have them in store. If someone has already bought them today please let me know. Otherwise I'm happy to try.

I am sure I saw someone confirm 1D egg (with mug not bag) this morning or late last night I think the problem is finding 1d mug in some stores - if not there is no trigger now HW fixed. HTH

No probs :) I've had a bit of a study of these multibuy wines. I noticed the Yellow Tail Sauvignon Blanc is not showing on MSM. If you look at the pic on Sada website it very clearly shows the name.
    9322214011520_21000_IDShot_2.jpeg
However on MSM there is a very similar one but its called Moscato 244796.jpg?1363353932081%20=1363353932081
I'm not sure if MSM would see them as the same product or not but if you can find the one called Sauvignon Blanc it might be a trigger.

Edit: They are different products as Mr T sell them both but you can only see the Moscato when signed out http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/#/shopping/findproducts.aspx?query=yellow tail&store=tesco

Nope no others in addition to this shop last night - so don't know if any one else can confirm re whether still working today?

This is good becasue althougth 1d mug is appearing on apg it is not appearing as part of multibuy for some reason - so all 3 eggs comparing (but you do get 3 for 2 at Asda). Once again be careful not 1d egg and bag but 1d egg and cup, and still tbc today - but good luck for those of you with this egg still in your store - fingers crossed ...................:D
