Although I don't believe they got all that for 9 quid!
And i cant believe Tesco are daft enought to even deliver it to them too! It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

Crisps - they're very nice - tubular shaped. I think Walkers make them, or maybe Golden Wonder0 -

Should I try again???
Last time the beef was like this I found 2, but exactly the same happened to me. CS offered to get me some marked at £5.00 but flatly refused DTD, rang up to complain and got told the same as you, no half price sticker - so didn't count.:(0 -
I have been thinking ..............
now that Sainsbugs and Tesco can INSTANTLY compare other supermarkets prices, wouldnt it be wise for one of them to just compare at the till and give you your shopping the cheapest available there and then rather than give a voucher to get you back in the store?
that way, the customer would KNOW that they have got their shopping cheaper and more chance of them going back.
As it is now, if your shopping is cheaper elsewhere Sainsbugs will give you a brand match to get you back in their store again, and Tesco will give you a price porkie.
Now if i was a "normal shopper" (whatever one of them is) with a measly voucher in my hand I would think twice about going back somewhere when i knew that they were dearer than elsewhere because they told me so at the till and gave me a voucher to prove that they had just ripped me off!
The only way i would go back and shop there again is if my voucher was for a decent amount and i didnt want to waste it, say 5-6 pound, but then i would already know that they were 5-6 pound dearer in the first place.
Just out of interest, what are other peoples view on this? It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

Afternoon all, have managed a quick catch up, apologies for lack our thanks
Was at hospital all day yesterday for start of chemo cycle 5/6. Back in for long day today add having blood transfusion after my chemo treatment. Fingers crossed I feel a but better after that. Gutter that I missed a Ts glitch yesterday but I was in no fit state to go out when I got home at 6 yesterday evening. Hoping it'll still be going this evening and I can send DH along
You poor thing - I feel for you having to have a blood transfusion as well as the chemo. Hope it does the job and makes you feel a little bit stronger.0 -

'A spokesman for Tesco was unable to comment on the glitch at the time of publication. However, it is understood that the supermarket is now aware of the issue.'
