Would it be any good still for sandwiches after it's been frozen?
I'm trying to fathom out where i'm going to stick 10 tubs I'm getting delivered this afternoon.
Might freeze some and use it in baking at a later date.
i always freeze butter/spread when there is a glitch on it, usually take 2 out of the freezer when running low, cannot tell no difference from freshly bought to frozen.
HTHIt`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

Had my morning catchup whilst having brekkie, now off to find vases for all these lovely whoopsie flowers we got last night.
The hydranger I got is looking so good after having its feet put in a bucket of water overnight thanks to Artha's tip:T.It now looks as good as Nannylala's Avatar
Hope you all have a pleasant day what ever you are doing.
Question for artha re hydranger where should I keep it for now as really I would like to have it it the garden in nice pot eventually.Tia
As these Hydrangeas have been forced and mollycoddled they will be a bit tender and confused about what time of year it is. They would of course be just coming out of their winter slumbers at this stage and not thinking about flowering for many a month yet
For the moment I would enjoy it in the house, keeping the roots moist at all times and some very dilute plant food. If it is the same as ours and in the cardboard container it won't allow much air circulation around the base of the plant and any of the tender leaves that might have been damaged might start to go mouldy(botrytis). I would personally take it out of this and put it into a nice ceramic pot cover if you have one to display it to its best.
It can be gradually accustomed to the outdoors on mild days (hardening off) but avoid bright sunlight and do not let it see any frost/cold winds. As the weather warms up and nights are not cold it could be time to think about leaving it outside permanently.
The flower heads will of course begin to fade and look a bit tatty but they can of course look quite decorative in their own right (often used in dried arrangements). If it was flowering at normal time (late summer) I leave these heads on to be decorative over winter and to give some protection to the flowering buds for the following year which are just underneath these mop heads. It's probably best to ask around in your own area to see what other Hydrangea owners do for local conditions
What these will do about flowering again this year at normal time I don't know. They may be too exhausted to do it again but with a bit of tlc who knows?
I'll be putting ours into pots with ericaceous compost so that, hopefully, they will be blue when they next flower and adding a few rusty nails to help the colour. Hope this helps but I'm sure a few others might also have a few helpful tips.:)Awaiting a new sig0 -

The online / click and collect deliveries are being charged at the instore price, nobody has had a delivery or c&c with the actual (free) online price I believe so might as well just buy instore and save c&c fee!Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be
And get lots of glitches!0 -

12 butter & 12 yogurt £2.34 + 2.00 click & collect = £4.34
I also have 12 of each in my online basket now, if i do a click and collect for tomorrow morning, what are the chances of the price changing?
never done a click n collect before, do you pay before you pick up the goods?
if the glitch is corrected am i likely to turn up to no order been processed?
decisions, decisions, do i go now and pay the £7.xx for 8 of each or do i chance doing a click and collect for da morning? It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
