Just back from doctor's after my funny turn yesterday. She checked my blood pressure 3 times, listened to my heart and checked the pulse in my neck. she has booked me in for an ECG, fasting blood test and a 24 hour blood pressure monitor. She said bp is very high and she wants to check these things then see me again. I am having ECG next Wednesday, blood test following week and blood pressure thing from 8th to 9th April ( as our surgery only has one machine for 12,000 patients. )
She told me to rest, eat little and often and drink plenty of water or squash. I discussed the Mum situation and she said I need to just cut right back or have respite for her. So I am now going to have lunch and sit on settee for rest of the day.

Hope you start to feel better soon, try to relax and not worry, easier said than done though x:)

    Morning all :)

Happy Birthday QRB - have a fab day!

Huge thanks to OP for the 1D egg glitch (Evangeline/glenburg?) :T I stocked up yesterday with quite a few as at 40p for 3 big eggs it was rude not to. It was also like being back in the fabby fingers days with the flump, mouse and button again.

    .

    Is this still working today???

Ummm - emailed Tosco Home Panels asking why I haven't been invited for a trial for ages, got a reply saying

Tesco Home Panels has a large amount of applications each month, so in order to make the system fair, on a random basis throughout the year we check to make sure all our existing panellists meet the same criteria as our applicants. Unfortunately the last time we checked we found that your details no longer met our criteria.

We apologise for any disappointment that this caused, but if you would like to become a member again, we can put you forward for the next recruitment and we can re-check your details against our selection criteria.

Doesn't look like they think I spend enough money :(

I've been sent two trials this past week, vitamin C for two weeks and the other one is heel cushions, done about 5 different surveys one of those being for men's shoes (I'm female lol) ..

Do they check your spending then? I mainly do the odd shop every couple of months or buy bits and bobs in an expr3ss..

  • |Just because Tesco now prints PP at the till, do they think they will get away without giving me my results for Saturday's shop? I don't think so Tesco's give me my results or I will be getting another Gift Card for complaining:rotfl:

I have tried this today using the Africa dry XL as the 'trigger', will post results about 2pm.

(Price changes at T today so I think it will be the last day for this).

    Hi Fuzzgun,
Sorry i didn't see you question earlier.
I got the Lynx Africa XL, but it doesn't say dry on it.

Did i get the wrong one?
The Lynx glitch worked using the Africa DRY XL spray as the trigger (barcode ending 018630).

Fish fingers still working too :)

I see 8 packs of Diet Coke are £4.00 in Tesco ( or 2 for £7.00) against £2.50 in Asda. So good for PP if bought in 1's.

Happy Birthday QRB, great name btw, I read all the Dragonriders books when I was at school, and still re-read them now.

Now I realise why Queenriderbrekke's name triggered some memory in my foggy brain. I too loved those books, and am due another re-read after this reminder about them

Thanks for the early morning try out Westie :T

    Afternoon lovelies.
Hope everyone is keeping warm, snow is throwing itself down from the heavens here. It keeps stopping and starting though so no danger if getting snowed in (I hope)

Happy birthday QRB, hope your having a lovely day.

Me and my lil monkey are having a snuggly afternoon today, lots of reading and playing on the sofa are in order I think.:)

I've only had a quick skim through today as have been busty. Hope I haven't missed anything important.

    Love to you all.
    Back in a bit x
