Off to bed now to dream about easter eggs!! So far have been good and haven't bought any, still have so many milk tray, biscuits, left and really do need to loose some weight
Good night all.0 -
Saw a lovely pair of jeans I wanted today, but they were £97  Didnt have the money so borrowed £50 off my brother and £50 from my mam. Got the jeans and £3 change, and thought why hold on to the £3 so gave them a pound back each, (only owed them £49 each now
) and I still had a pound, so that was good, almost the money for a half .
Then I got to thinking, I owe £49 x 2 =£98. I have a pound left, making £99, where has the other pound gone??“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

I just followed the instructions on http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/bargains-deals-discounts/shop-scan-save?utm_source=MSE_Newsletter&utm_medium=Email&utm_term=05-Mar-13&utm_campaign=deals&utm_content=114
It mentions a code that you were supposed to enter when you register (short name of supermarket where it is available without the - !). Offer still hasn't arrived on my App!

I really can't believe what I'm reading!!
This person you are slating was me actually, but let me make one thing clear you were neither shoved nor pushed.
When I seen the eggs yes I got excited and dived down to check that they were the hot wheels. It was the 3rd store in a row I'd been looking for them.
I did notice one other person looking at the eggs, which I assume now was you, but at no stage where you pushed out of the way, infact I'm astounded at these lies, as you were actually standing to the right of them while I was at the left.
In light of this I can only assume your annoyance is due to the fact that I took the last 3. Had I known that you may have wanted some too I would happily have shared, and have done in the past when meeting other mse'ers.
I don't consider 3 eggs greedy?
I have 5 children and always donate anything I have spare to the Salvation Army, as I have mentioned in numerous posts.
This is hardly the actions of a greedy person.
Do you suggest I explain this to complete strangers in the supermarket aisle in case they think I'm being greedy.
You will have to excuse me for discussing apgs within your hearing to my mate (actually my mum) or daring to also buy potatoes and s&g, I had no idea this was so heavily frowned upon.
Reading your post has left me feeling sick and deeply annoyed., if you had a problem with me, I would have appreciated you saying something at the time. Instead you have come on here, hiding behind your computer, describing how I look and describing my clothes. I may have been excited at finding those eggs, but at no stage where you pushed or shoved at all, or is your use of the words "practically shoved" an exaggeration!
Upon meeting other mse'ers in supermarkets I have always been friendly and helpful and on any occasion I can I contribute to this thread.
I would seriously suggest you think before you post in future for your post has hurt me deeply and left me very shaken. I have never knowingly been rude to anyone
I shall now return to lurking
Though I'm not sure why as I think my glitchimg days have just ended.
I think we may just have to agree to disagree on this one. Nothing I said was incorrect or fabricated. I actually had to step back out of the way of your trolley as you and the other lady crept down right in front of me to get the eggs, completely blocking my view. As I have already said, I was not even there tonight to buy any eggs, so there is certainly no annoyance on my part due to any perceived jealousy. That store is on my way home and earlier this afternoon I offered on here to check if the particular eggs were stocked and report back to assist others.
My mentioning of the potatoes and deods was merely to identify the shopper I encountered as an mse-er, as opposed to someone who just happened to be buying eggs
I am sorry you disagree with my original post but from my side of the situation and my point of view, that is exactly what happened. I do very much understand the excitement of finally finding something you perhaps have been searching for and, given your explanation, will happily give you the benefit of the doubt.0 -

Good night everyone, I need to get some sleep.
My kitchen door is now non-existentthe only thing keeping the dogs in the kitchen is routine, well that and a wheelie bin, tumble drier, some wooden shelves, a set of ladders, the door to the cupboard under the stairs, a huge cardboard box, a toy chest and a baby gate that's fit for nothing now :rotfl:.
New baby gates should arrive tomorrow, I'd like to see how long it'll take them to wreck theseI bought the extensions too so they'll find it harder to pull them off the wall, I hope.
As for the kitchen door, I'm now thinking of going for the prison security fence look :rotfl: it should go well with the kitchen look I have going on with the chained and padlocked cupboards. At least it has a theme.
Anyway good night xSPC #329 £471/£500 banked

It hasn't gone anywhere!
You gave them £2 back and you have in your possession £1 and a £97 pair of jeans = total £100.
You do now owe £49 x 2 and you have £98 worth of stuff which is right.:oLearn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be
And get lots of glitches!0 -
I didn't see that set of instructions I just went and registered after downloading app> I can see the offer on my offers but wonder whether it will be accepted? I don't see any separate voucher or anything:(
I did it the same way as you Artha no code or anything and it worked fineLearn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be

Ok guys I can confirm that the Elizabeth Shaw mint crisp egg is a trigger ( but does compare on receipt as n/a to Tesco so counts towards your £8 items.
It is labelled up on shelf as £6 and is not shown as in 3 for £10 deal but it does come off at till ( I did with one direction cup egg and aero bubbles egg).
Nb there are two very similar eggs - I can only confirm the mint crisp, one)
5.30pm shop and just input receipt now and printed it!
Do you have the last 4 digits of the barcode please DODO.
Sorry see you have already posted it but I was reading backwards.

Didn't think our Dave would spend all that money on a pair of jeans unless there was some sort of glitch on them.0
