Just got an email from BS....
You recently placed an order on www.thebodyshop.com using our 'buy 2 get 2 free' promotion.
Unfortunately there was a technical problem on our website which resulted in the promotion not working in accordance with the terms and conditions of the offer. This means that we are unable to complete your order. Please rest assured that you will be fully refunded. We are very sorry for the inconvenience and can assure you that the error has now been rectified.
To apologise we would like to offer you a 40% discount* on your next online order.
I just got the same email. Just wondering if it means all orders as i have done 6 and have only had confirmation emails for each and all paid using the same card. ah well was worth a try0 -

Update on Vax carpet cleaner.
Couldn't get stuck screw out
So knocked on next doors back door over fence asked guy if he could get screw out and told him what had happened
So lifted Vax over fence :rotfl:
Have to do it this way because we have a very nosy old age pensioner lives opposite couple next door and she sits so she can see our houses so we dont use front doors. She's told me can see mine if she looks at side of fire surround it mirrors in
Guy couldnt get screw out i had messed it upbut he said i should have another screw and bolt to put lower down so piece was stable but i didnt
So he found one and Vax ready to go now :j
I had fitted rest ok and would have fitted that piece if i had known needed another screw and bolt.
Not tested it yet will clean carpets another day hope that goes well and i dont flood carpets :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Thanks again for birthday wishes :A0 -
Something to do with stroking meat was it  oh yes thats right
I was asleep last night till 11:45 when the dogs went absolutely crazy downstairs.
Looked out of the window just in time to see what may have been a figure turning the corner at high speed
Went and had a mooch about and everything fine so will be adding another level of security to garage once I have cought up not sure what as yet though.
Any burglars on here with any tips as to what puts you off apart from two mad dogs :rotfl:Blesss them :T

A drivepost is really good to put against a garage, stops it being opened, or a bit simpler is a padlock (get a good one) and hasp from drive into the bottom of the door, strengthening it from behind the garage door with some metal as garage doors are usually thin.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Been right through today, and apart from an online order, I can see if anyone one has tried the s&g or the bombay pots taday. Has anyone had a success through today please??“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Evening all
I did 4 BS orders, 1 of which has been dispatched, yay I'm happy with that
Just had (yet another) cashback declined email from Quidco, getting a bit fed up of them now so I had a bit of a winge (not like me at all, lol)
anyway they have given me £2.50 goodwill payment, it doesn't quite cover the declined cashback but it's better than a stab in the eye with a blunt instrument"Don't go where the path may lead,go where there is no path and leave a trail"Anthony Robbins0 -
My 3 BS orders cancelled too.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
