Do people understand the difference between ineligible and illegible? I have read a couple of posts this evening in connection with Quidco claims that have been turned down where people seem to be confusing the two.

I understand the inference Shirley but my predictive text doesnt:o;)

See that should have read inference.

    Difference:eek:

Drives me bonkers but not switching it off as it gives me so many laughs:rotfl:

Dreams gone into administration. Deliveries and gift cards are apparently safe

But seriously, who has a gift voucher for Dreams?

All this about disciplining children reminds me of an incident a while back.

I was in a retail park and this approximately two year old came barelling out of a shop. As the (busy) car park is in the middle of all the shops I just grabbed the child to stop it (still don't know if it was a boy or girl!!). The parents came barelling out and nearly ran straight past me in their panic, but they were really grateful for my having stopped the little one.

Have to admit, had I stopped and thought about it, I might have let the child run by - all the implications about touching someone else's child these days are terrifying, what if they had thought I was trying to abduct the child :eek: I also hate to think about the implications about someone with that in their mind when they see a child run by into potential harm :eek:

All's well that ends well, but that scared me.

    This is my field too.
You can smack a child as long as you don't leave a mark. I know:o

Or grab, seize a child to save him or her from danger

    This brings back memories,
my stepchildren were very unruly and the six year old boy used to kick and punch me.
One day we were waiting at the kerb to cross a busy road and he wouldn't hold my hand, he had no road sense.
He dashed off the kerb into the path of a lorry and I grabbed him by the scruff nearly giving me a heart attack....can you imagine what the mother would have said!!!
Anyhow he turned and started hitting me so I slapped his leg and told him he nearly killed himself and probably me too.
He snivelled a bit and I got the refibrilator out to restart my heart which had jumped out of my mouth.
When he went home he told his mum I hit him and we had a torrent of abuse even though she beat them regularly with a wooden spoon, the bruises used to make me cry.

One is a drunk, one has already been in prison and a drug user, the other is a recluse.

Hope your all enjoying getting your chocolates :D I was wondering if anyone else had noticed a change in Sainsbees till splits. Rather than offering points off the shop - today the machines are spitting out item specific ones. (Mostly wine too!) I wonder if this change has been made due to Tesco changing thier PP next week?
    Wishing you all good luck!
